NILES - The Oblates of Blues will be performing tonight for the second Thursday Night Live concert at 7 p.m. at the Riverfront Amphitheater.
They group has performed all over the local area, including The Midway Tavern in Mishawaka, Ind., and The Riverfront Cafe in Niles.
This "all theologian Blues Band" features Hugh Page, Jr., vocals and harmonica, Max Johnson, guitar and vocals, David Pitt, keyboard and vocals, Nick Russo, bass, and Tom Guinan, drums.
The Oblates of Blues combine classic Chicago Blues and R and B with several original songs, "I Gotta Big Dog," "Gotta Get Me a New Gig," "Ain't Gonna Mow My Yard" and "Everybody Loves the Biscuit."
