Lady ‘Cats softball ready for districts

NILES - Brandywine's softball team grabbed a pair of wins Wednesday afternoon as it hosted Three Rivers for its last regular seaon game of the season.
The Bobcats took the first game 3-1 and a 9-0 win in the nightcap.
Brandwyine scored all three of its runs in the first inning of the first game.
Ashley Antus was the lone hitter for the Bobcats with a double and Kelli Zache picked up the win on the mound with 11 strike outs.
Zache again grabbed the pitching win in the second game giving her 22 wins on the season with only six losses.
Zache also added four singles offensively for Brandywine and Amanda Grice added a double and a single.
The Bobcats will face Bridgman on Saturday at Berrien Springs High School at 11:30 a.m. The Bees won Tuesday's opening game against Berrien Springs.
The winner will then advance to the championship game at 1 p.m.
