Once again Niles rose to the occasion and was led by sophomore sprinter Isaiah Glaze who won the 100 meter and placed fifth in the 200 meter.
Also coming up big was Otis West who placed second in the 100 and 200 meter and third in the long jump.
Leading the way for the Vikings in the ditance events was Logan Todd with four top 10 finishes 4×800 relay, 4×400 relay, 1,600 meter run and 800 meter run.
Other notables were Kurt Poehlman who took second in the high jump and Aubery Hopkins who placed third in the shot put.
Niles' last meet of the year will be the MHSAA State Championships this Saturday where the Vikes hope to have King back. With or without him, Niles will be ready.
