NILES - Watervliet Grace Christian was no match for host Buchanan Monday evening as the Bucks took the 7-3, 6-0 doubleheader non-conference win.
Jeremy Lucas, now 4-3 on the mound, picked up the pitching win in the first game against Steve Oxley with nine strike outs.
Kyle Tracey, also 4-3, got the second game pitching win against Kevin Knapp with 12 strike outs against Grace Christian.
Tracey went 4-for-4 with a double, four runs and four stolen bases and PJ Pollock went 2-for-4 offensively for the Bucks in game one.
In the second game Tracey and Josh Wahlstrom both went 2-for-3, Justin Helt went 2-for-3 with a double and Jim Connors went 2-for-4.
Buchanan will travel to Bridgman today for a pair of Lakeland Conference games set to begin at 4 p.m.
