NILES - Brandywine's soccer team suffered a 7-5 Lakeland Conference loss Monday evening to visiting River Valley.
The Bobcats, now 1-9 overall, 0-5 on the LAC, had many of opportunities to take catch up, but were never able to finish.
Kalie Newman scored four goals for Brandywine and Bethany Daniel scored one goal and had one assist.
The Bobcats will travel to Edwardsburg on Wednesday for back-to-back Lakeland Conference games set to begin at 5 p.m.
One game is a make up from earlier this season.
