Niles girls’ golf team finishes second in final jamboree, brings home West Division title

NILES - The Big 16 Conference West Division championship was decided Monday afternoon as Niles finished finishing second at the jamboree hosted by St. Joseph at Blossom Trails in Benton Harbor.
The Lady Vikings locked up the title when it hosted the division jamboree the previous week, but capped off their championship with another strong effort.
St. Joseph won the jamboree with a team total of 229, bettering the Lady Vikings by one stroke.
Dowagiac finished with a 244 in the most competitive jamboree of the year.
Niles' Jenna Semrinec was the division medalist, while Hilary Landgraf and Kelsey Neilson were also first team selections.
Dowagiac's Carly Gantt was also a first team selection.
