Bobcats get win

NILES - The Brandywine varsity tennis team picked up its third win of the season Monday afternoon with a 5-3 Lakeland Conference victory over host Coloma.
The Bobcats and Comets split the singles flights, while Brandywine won three out of the four doubles flights.
Winning in singles competition for Brandywine were Mike Nagy at No. 1 singles over Rico FaJarde (6-0, 6-4) and Cory Barber at No. 3 singles over Derek Stonebreaker (6-4, 6-4).
Winning at doubles for the Bobcats were Billy McDonald and Jeremy Hechtl over Ryan Saltzmer and Jeret Mitchell (6-4, 7-6) in the first flight and Brian Echavarria and Tyler Espick over Dustin Johnson and Brad Badgly (6-2, 3-6, 6-1) in the third flight.
Brandywine received a forfeit victory at No. 4 doubles.
The Bobcats will face Buchanan next on Wednesday. Match time is set for 4 p.m.
