No winner in Vikes-Bucks soccer game

NILES - Crosstown rivals Niles and Buchanan met on the soccer field Wednesday evening and the outcome was in favor of both.
After a scoreless start to the first half, the Vikings were able to score their only goal right before halftime by Tearria Murphy assisted by Danie Pulaski and took the 1-0 lead at intermission.
Buchanan was able to score its only goal in the second half from a defensive deflect on the Vikings side.
The goal was given to Mary Martin, which was assisted by Natalie Barclay and the game was tied at one.
The game remained scoreless and as time ran out the two teams ended the game with a tie.
Niles will travel to Dowagiac on Monday for a Big 16 Conference West Division match is set to begin at 5:45 p.m.
