NILES - The Niles Downtown Development Authority-Main Street and the Niles Art Association are teaming up for their second annual fundraiser auction.
Following the title "Painted Garden Celebration," artists from all over the community have painted and designed different pieces of art with a garden theme.
Some of the featured items are, photographs of flowers, painted bird houses, pots, boxes, wooden chests, bird baths, stones, tile mosaics, hand made vases, ceramic birds, garden tool birds, and painted chairs.
The event is being held on Sunday May 1, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Riverfront Cafe located at 219 N. Front Street in Niles. The auction will begin at 5 p.m.
Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served. Tickets are $75 per couple or $40 per person. For $100 a couple or $50 a person dinner is included. Seating is limited. Tickets to the event are available by calling (269) 687-4332.
For anyone who would like to donate a garden themed item to the auction, they can contact Smith at (269) 684-1868.
If the item is to be featured in the auction catalog it needs to be turned in by Friday, April 22, but they will be taking items until Friday, April 29.
