Niles man arrested after drug deal observed at party store

NILES - Niles City Police arrested a Niles man pending drug charges after allegedly witnessing a drug deal.
Police reports indicated that Terry Lee Pfister, 42, of 1715 N. 11th St., Niles, sped away from the 200 block of North Sixth Street, Niles, after the alleged drug transaction at 4:32 p.m. on April 5.
Police followed Pfister to the 7-Day Party Store, where they stopped him and searched his vehicle.
Police reports indicate Pfister has no driver's license. A passenger in his car, Toni Renay Bartley, 34, of 919 Burns St., Niles, was allegedly found to have crack cocaine wrapped in plastic inside her purse. Police allege six pieces of rock crack cocaine were also discovered in the passenger-side door, as well as two crack pipes found in the car.
After being transported to the Niles Law Enforcement Complex, Bartley was arrested pending charges for crack cocaine possession and on an outstanding warrant from the Bridgman Police Department for no operator's license.
Pfister was arrested pending charges for crack cocaine possession, driving while his license is suspended and parole violation. No bond was set for either.
In other city police reports:
Niles City Police requested that the Michigan State Police locate Bruce Leroy Wisner, Jr., 42, of 1906 Walton Road in Niles at 10 p.m. on April 5.
He was found at 2773 Hoyt Drive in Cass County. He had a valid warrant for his arrest from the Niles Police Department for Larceny under $200. Wisner was arrested pending charges on the warrant, transported to the Law
Enforcement Complex, booked and lodged with bond set at $500.
* After a routine traffic stop at the intersection of 17th and Oak streets on April 5 at 9:38 p.m., police arrested Willie Frank Pearson, 55, of 980 Edgewood Drive, Niles, for having No Valid Operators License. Bond was set at $100 and Pearson's vehicle was impounded.
On April 6 at 11:01 p.m., Herbert Harrison Wall, 41, of 317 N. 7th St., Niles, who was allegedly on parole out of Lansing where he was allegedly on tether, was located at his home. Crack cocaine was allegedly found on his person. Police officers indicate in their report Wall was allegedly repeatedly hostile toward officers, became aggressive and resisted arrest.
Wall was arrested pending charges for resisting an officer and possession of crack cocaine. He was lodged at the Law Enforcement Complex with no bond and had a probation hold placed on him.
A vehicle driven by Steven Randall Williams, 20, of 1703 Broadway, Niles, was stopped near 11th and Fort streets. The car, a 1990 Chevy, allegedly had expired plates. Williams allegedly had no driver's license. He was arrested pending charges for those violations and lodged at the Niles Police Department on $50 bond. His vehicle was impounded.
