NILES - The Brandywine softball team can't complain too much about this past weekend.
The Bobcats earned second place at the South Bend Adams tournament and Coach Jim Myers also picked up his 400th win for Brandywine at the tournament.
Myers is in his 14th year as the head softball coach.
Last year, coach Myers led his team to the conference, district and regional championships.
In 2000-01, he led his team to their first state championship win.
On Saturday, Brandywine defeated Boone Grove in the first game 5-1.
Kelli Zache was the wining pitcher against Lauren Dehner.

Brandywine had a much closer game in the championship round as it faced the host of the tourney, South Bend Adams, and lost by one point, 5-4.
The Bobcats didn't score any runs until the top of the fifth when they picked up four runs.
Laura Maglozzi was the winning pitcher against Zache. Mallory Barber was the top hitter for Brandywine with a double and two RBIs.
