Bucks tennis place second

BUCHANAN - The Buchanan tennis team fell within four points of claiming the first place position this past weekend at the Lowell Tournament, but coach Steve Bender is very pleased with the way his team performed.
Lowell came in first with a total of 25 points, Buchanan second with 21 points, Alma third with 18 points and Greenville fourth with 16 points.
Korey Camp and Andrew Gordon came went 3-0 at No. 1 doubles to earn first place. At No. 2 singles Mario Bonardi went 2-1 to place sencond and Brad Burns went 2-1 at No. 3 singles tp place second.
David Wright and Dillon Bailey placed second at No. 2 doubles going 2-1. Andrew Scoggin and Josh Niven placed second at No. 3 doubles going 2-1 and Justin Lovelady and Taylor Oake placed second at No. 4 doubles going 2-1.
The Bucks return to the court today as they host Dowagiac at 4 p.m. for a non-conference match.
