NILES - Niles is booming with new businesses.
New Age Studies, which is located at 2004 S. 11th St., is a one of the newest and is a one-stop shop for all of your new age and metaphysical services, supplies, products and unique gifts.
Doug Law chairman of the Chamber of Commerce said, "we are really happy to have your business here and the Chamber is here to support you." A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Friday, sponsored by the chamber.
They also offer reike, which is hands-on-healing using unconditional love energy; and dream interpretation, that is a unique technique that taps into the significance of personal symbolism in ones dreams and touch healing as well as video workshops on quantum healing.
They will also be offering classes and workshops in many of these things so that people can learn more about them.
The store also offers a program called share-a-space. This is where anyone can share space in the store for a small monthly fee in order to sell their product or provide their service to customers and clients.
New Age Studies takes care of all the selling, advertising and customer service for the people who rent the shelf space and all they have to do is provide the product or service.
Perkins added that she really enjoys sharing her knowledge of these topics with people and that the community will want to come in and see what this business is all about. "This store is open to everyone, and I'm sure that everyone could find something that they like here," said Perkins.
