Cedar Lane falls short to Portage Central Alternative

NILES - The Cedar Lane basketball team suffered a loss last Thursday against Portage Central Alternative 46-41.
The team kept the lead throughout the entire game and fell short in the fourth when it had trouble getting shots in.
The team was also supposed to face Comstock, but the team didn't show giving Cedar Lane the forfeit victory.
Wyatt Hickey lead the team with 10 points. Dan McLemore had eight and Peter Richard and Tad Ryder both added six. Jeremy Kirschbaum had five, Eddie Woods had four and Jason Landstrom had two points for Cedar Lane.
The team travels to Kalamazoo next Thursday to play the Juvenile Center of Kalamazoo. Game time is set for 11 a.m.
