The Ring Lardner Eight Grade Blue team defeated Dowagiac 45-19 on Thursday. A strong 22-point third quarter helped the Vikings pull away from the Chieftains. The Vikings were led in scoring by Assad Ali with 18 points and Justin Williams with eight points. Cody Floor, Bradley Thomas and Andrew Brawley also played well for the Vikings. Ring Lardner is 1-0 on the season and will next be in action on Monday at Lakeshore.
