CASSOPOLIS - The Cass County Sheriff's Office is investigating a home invasion that occurred on Jefferson Center Street in Jefferson Township near Edwardsburg.
The home owner was awakened at approximately 3:30 a.m. Monday by three male suspects who forcefully entered through the front door of the residence.
The suspects, who wore masks and were armed, then proceeded to take cash and property from the residence.
After the suspects left in an unknown type of vehicle, the victim called 911.
The homeowner was not injured in this incident.
The incident remains under investigation at this time.
