The Buchanan Bucks picked up a Lakeland Conference road victory against the Lady Eddies Tuesday night at Edwardsburg.
The Lady Eddies took an early 6-4 lead after the first quarter, but fell behind at the intermission 14-16. The entire first half was a defensive battle. At the midway section of the third quarter, a three-point barrage occurred with both teams matching three point shots. At the end of the third quarter Buchanan led 34-29, and eventually to a 50-46 victory.
The Bucks were led in scoring by Hayley Cashier with 19 points to lead all scorers. Both Sheena Bradshaw and Ashley Pointer delivered nine points respectively, and DeeDee Thompson and Danielle Bachleda added six.
The Lady Eddies were led by Julie Harness and Shelly Roberts with eleven points, and Sarah Lange with ten.
The Lady Eddies fall to 2-4 in the LAC and 4-5 overall, and now travel to Coloma for a Thursday night game.
