Buchanan picked up its biggest victory in school history Friday, both literally and figuratively.
The 76-0 romp over River Valley was the largest margin of victory for a Bucks team. Even bigger for the program, the win qualified Buchanan for the playoffs for the first time in school history.
The blowout also gave Austin his 100th victory as a head coach.
Buchanan had seven players score 10 touchdowns against the Mustangs. The Bucks played their second-string the entire second half.
The victory was big for Austin, not only because of the milestone, but because he has never coached a team to the playoffs before. He has also never won by 76 points, he said.
Buchanan rushed for 390 yards in the game and threw for 74. The victory is the Bucks' 10th straight dating back to last season.
