CASSOPOLIS - the Cassopolis Public Schools hope for a tremendous kick-off to its Respect and protect Program. Everyone in the community is invited to participate.
The violence prevention program is free to the community. All students, school staff and administration, families and people from the community are invited to come to Sam Adams Elementary school between 4 and 7 p.m. to have fun - and celebrate the commitment to non-violence.
Included will be hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy and beverages. That is just the food. there will be face painting, soccer kick, electronic basketball, space walk, balloons, prizes and many other carnival attractions.
At 5 p.m. the students will take the stage with a unique performance.
The Cassopolis Schools will not tolerate any mean word, look, sign, or act, that harms another person's body, feelings or things.
The school needs the support of parents and the entire community to have an atmosphere without fear of harm.
The program is sponsored and supported by the Cass County youth committee.
