Bucks beat Edwardsburg

Buchanan was down 3-1 after the singles flights Wednesday against Edwardsburg, but the Bucks' doubles team swept the Eddies to pull out a 5-3 victory.
The Bucks' singles winner was Jaclyn Mummaw at No. 2. She beat Alia Zander of Edwardsburg 6-1, 6-1.
At No. 1 singles, Jackie O'Connor of Edwardsburg beat Buchanan's Ashley Shepherd 7-6, 1-6, 6-4.
Edwardsburg's Kate Gregory beat Chelsea Ghateaura 6-4, 6-3 at No. 3 singles, and the Eddies' Stacey Miller beat Buchanan's Olivia Bonardi 6-2, 6-4 at No. 4.
Tracy Brelowski and Lizzy Thornton started the doubles sweep for Buchanan by beating Edwardsburg's Alexa Smith and Amanda McCracken at No. 1 doubles 6-4, 7-5, 6-3.
At No. 2 doubles, Hannah Flood and Nicole Moyer won 6-1, 6-0 for Buchanan, beating the Eddies' team of Chelsie Baucus and Corine Fleming.
Buchanan's Brittanee Smeltzer and Terra Linville beat Bethany Marschke and Ally Weir at No. 3 doubles 6-1, 7-6 (7-3).
Finishing up the victory for the Bucks were Lesley Niemier and Robyn Bahr, who won 6-2, 6-4, 6-3 at No. 4 doubles over Edwardsburg's Lindsey Mette and Courtney Moyer.
