Brandywine head coach Terry Borr said at the start of the season that his goal for the Bobcats was continual improvement. To ensure his inexperienced team is getting better, the first year head coach has worked on the fundamentals and understanding of football.
In Brandywine's first game of the season, the Bobcats took a 25-0 beating from Lawrence. Borr wasn't too disappointed, considering it was the first varsity game for all but three of his players.
Now that the Bobcats have that first game under their belts, Borr said he's looking for more production in tonight's home game against Centreville.
Because of the Labor Day weekend, Brandywine is playing one day earlier than its normal Friday night game. While Centreville is in the same position, Borr said the short week especially affects his team because they have more to learn.
