Brandywine's junior varsity golf team won the Lakeland Conference by seven strokes Thursday at Indian Lake Hills. Buchanan finished seventh.
The Bobcats were led by Justin Ely, who took medalist honors by shooting a 41. Brandywine's Joe Sodierski finished second with a 43.
Buchanan's top golfer was John Mandschein, who shot a 47, followed by Adam Houin with a 51.
Brandywine finished with a team total of 187 to take first place. Bridgman was second with 194, followed by Edwardsburg's 196.
Coloma and River Valley tied at 204, but River Valley took fourth on a tie-breaker.
Buchanan's 207 tied the Bucks with Berrien Springs, but the Shamrocks won the tie-breaker to finish in sixth place.
