Three Buchanan golfers shoot 45s; Bucks beat Eau Claire in dual meet

Buchanan used three scores of 45 to beat Eau Claire in a dual meet Tuesday at Brookwood Golf Course.
Nathan Layher, Andrew Colip and Jeremy Bachman all shot 45 to lead the Bucks to a 183-222 victory.
In his first varsity match, freshman Adam Houin shot a 48 for Buchanan, lower than any Eau Claire golfer.
Buchanan's highest score to count toward the team total, Houin's 48, was lower than Eau Claire's best score, a 52.
Matt Adams shot a 51 and Scott Lolmaugh shot a 55 to round out Buchanan's golfers. Their scores did not count toward the team total.
This was the Bucks' second dual meet of the year. Buchanan lost 191-179 to St. Joseph in its first dual meet of the season on Aug. 18.
Buchanan's next match is a JV Jamboree at Berrien Springs on Tuesday.
