CASSOPOLIS - The king of crash this year is hometown hero Tony Wallace.
Wallace captured the 2004 Demolition Derby championship for sedans at the Cass County Fair Monday night.
Randy Schultz of Niles was second with Dave Jerz of Dowagiac third and Tom Lintz Jr. of South Bend, Ind. finishing third. Lloyd Myers of Edwardsburg was champion in the Minis division.
Brian Singleton and Chasandera Yakim, both of Dowagiac, finished second and third. Bruce Tucker and Bill Brown, both of Cass, finished fourth and fifth. Heat winners were Lintz Jr., Robert Sallee of Niles and John Walz of South Bend. Taking second were Jeni Gless of Cass, Schultz of Niles and Jeromy Bogue of Cass.
