Best of the Best balloting under way in 2nd annual Leader Publications contest

NILES - The second annual Leader Publications Best of the Best 2004 Readers Choice Awards balloting is currently under way.
The contest, which had more than 2,200 ballots cast in 2003, will wrap up at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4.
Ballots have been published in the Cassopolis Vigilant, Dowagiac Daily News, Edwardsburg Argus, Niles Daily Star and the Leader for the past two weeks. That means ballots are available to more than 100,000 readers.
Ballots must be filled out with a name, address and telephone number to be entered into the drawing.
Extra ballots are available at both Leader Publication offices, the Dowagiac Daily News at 205 Spaulding St., Dowagiac or the Niles Daily Star, 217 N. 4th St., Niles.
Kingsley noted that there will be a lot more color in this year's section as well.
The addition with the winners will appear in the Cassopolis Vigilant, Dowagiac Daily News, Edwardsburg Argus and Niles Daily Star on Aug. 26. Extra copies will be available for sale at either office.
