The Third Annual Fifth Third Bank/YMCA 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, August 7. This is a great way take part in a healthy activity, and support a worthy cause as well. Registration begins at 8 a.m. at the Riverfront Park Amphitheater, and the 5K Run/Walk begins at 9 a.m.
People of all ages are invited to register and participate in this fun-filled event. Entry fee is $20 per person at the race. Early registration discounts are available. All pre-registered participants receive a free tee shirt. Proceeds will go to support the Niles/Buchanan YMCA.
Last year, approximately 180 individuals participated in this great event. Participants will check-in or register at the Amphitheater. The run/walk will begin at the Niles/Buchanan YMCA, and the route takes you south along the scenic St. Joseph River, then turns north and finishes up at the Amphitheater.
