NILES -- Michigan State University Extension will be presenting two workshops to help you landscape near water.
The first workshop will be July 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in room 141 of the Lyons Building at Southwestern Michigan College in Dowagiac.
Participants will learn about shoreline and lake ecology and be introduced to important environmental issues.
The second workshop scheduled for July 29th will also be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in room 141 of the Lyons Building at Southwestern Michigan College.
Participants will learn about dealing with pests near water, lawn care, landscape design and the use of native plants.
