Knights stay alive in Series with two victories after loss

The Niles Knights turned six double-plays on the way to winning back to back games and staying alive in the Little League World Series.
D.J. Wolnik turned three and Adam Miller, Jeff Jurgonski, and David Ralston each turned one.
In the first game, Niles defeated the Placer Pirates from California 6-3. Ralston got the win for the Knights. Keith Prak led Knight batters going 3-for-3. Alex Welch was 2-for-4, while Kyle Prak, Jamie Simpson, Dan Holland and Jurgonski each collected a hit.
In game two the Knights shut out the Ft. Worth Express 9-0. Miller earned the shutout win, allowing only two hits. Keith Prak and Simpson were both 2-for-3 at the plate. Also getting hits for Niles were Kyle Prak, Welch, Miller, Jake Harris, Holland, Jurgonski, and Wolnik.
On Wednesday, the Knights won their first game of the Series, 12-11 over the Oklahoma Bulldogs, but fell 12-2 to Central Arkansas.
The loss sent Niles to the loser's bracket of the double-elimination tournament. After two days of play, Niles is 3-1 at the Series.
