The Brandywine Cal Ripken 10-year-old All-Star team travels to Clinton Township this weekend to compete in the Michigan state tournament.
The team will compete in a double-elimination tournament beginning at 4:15 p.m. Friday. Brandywine opens against Clinton Valley. Lanse Cruse North will be facing Lansing/Raymont at the same time.
The winners of each game will then face each other at 6:30 p.m. The winner of that game will advance to the championship at 10 a.m. Sunday. Losers of the 4:15 games on Friday will play each other at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.
The winner of Saturday's 9:30 a.m. game will face the loser of Friday's 6:30 p.m. game. The loser's game will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday.
The winner of Saturday's 3 p.m. game will advance to the championship game 10 a.m. Sunday.
