Blue Jays qualify, win first Brandywine Cal Ripken Jr. Rookie World Series game

The Blue Jays qualified for the Rookie World Series with this victory.
Kyle Duncan, Brock Hartline and Kodey Ernsperger led the Jays at the plate with two singles apiece.
J.J. McIntyre and Alex Hardy each hit two singles to lead the Mariners.

In the first game of the Rookie World Series, the Blue Jays took an early 4-0 lead in the top of the first inning and held on for the victory.
The best-of-three series continues tonight with the second game at 5:30 p.m.
Brock Hartline paced the Blue Jays with a double and two singles. Kyle Duncan, Brandon Garrett and Adam Riffle each hit three singles and Nate Anders added two doubles.
Cody Young, Dennis Jordan and Austin Barkman each hit two singles for the White Sox.
