Niles Little League hosting at least 13 district games

NILES -- In addition to sending out three All-Star teams for competition, the Niles F.O.P. Little League is hosting as many as 13 games during the upcoming District 15 tournaments this month.
Niles is hosting two championship games -- the 9-10 year-old baseball title game on Saturday, July 17, at 11 a.m, and the 11-year-old baseball title game on Friday, July 16, at 6 p.m. There is also a chance of second title games in both tournaments. If necessary, the second title game for the 9-10 year-old baseball will be Monday, July 19, at 6 p.m. and the second title game for the 11-year-old baseball will be Saturday, July 17, at 2 p.m.
The first game on the schedule for Niles F.O.P. Little League will be an 11-12 year-old game between Vicksburg and Lawton on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Two games will be played on Saturday, July 10. At 11 a.m., South Haven and Dowagiac will play an 11-year-old game. At 1 p.m., two teams yet to be determined will play in an 11-12 year-old game.
On Sunday, July 11, a pair of 11-12 year-old games will be played at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Two more games will be played on Monday, July 12. An 11-12 year-old game will be played at 6 p.m. and an 11-year-old game will be played at 8 p.m.
On Wednesday, July 14, a 9-10 year-old game will be played at 6 p.m.
On Thursday, July 15, a 9-10 year-old semifinal will be played at 6 p.m.
The Niles F.O.P. 9-10 year-old All-Stars will open District 15 Tournament play on Thursday, July 8, against South Haven at Dowagiac at 6 p.m.
The Niles F.O.P. 11-year-old All-Stars will open District 15 Tournament play on Monday, July 12, against either South Haven or Dowagiac at Mattawan at 6 p.m.
The Niles F.O.P. 11-12 year-old All-Stars open District 15 Tournament play on Tuesday against Dowagiac at Three Rivers at 6 p.m.
