Brandywine needed to win just one game to win the Lakeland Conference title outright, but a sweep of Cassopolis Tuesday evening gave the Bobcats an undefeated season in the league.
The Brandywine varsity softball team, ranked No. 3 in Division 3, beat Cassopolis 14-3 and 10-3 to improve to 29-5 overall and 14-0 in league play.
Amanda Grice pitched both games for Brandywine and is now 2-0 on the year.
In the first game, Brandywine's Kelli Zache, Dee Echevarria, Emily Christiansen and Kayla Asmus each hit a double.
Britnie Hulett doubled for Cassopolis in the opener.
Zache, Echevarria and Shoemaker doubled again in the second game.
The Bobcats host a tournament Saturday at 10 a.m.
