Niles High School senior Kyle Isabel has decided to continue his football, baseball and academic careers at Elmhurst College in Illinois.
Isabel will be joining former high school teammate Greg Hoese on the football team. Hoese will be a sophomore in the fall when Isabel joins the team.
Isabel was a flanker on the Niles varsity football team for two years, but also snapped the ball for extra points and punts and returned punts.
Niles senior Rob Schuelke, a defensive lineman, also recently made a decision to attend Kalamazoo College and play football.
Isabel and Schuelke are the fifth and sixth members of the Niles Class of 2004 to commit to play football in college. Lonnie Jones, Stacy Caskey, Marcus Lawshea and Ivery Cross III will all play at Si Tanka University in Huron, S.D.
