The Dowagiac varsity soccer team blanked visiting Brandywine Monday afternoon in a non-conference match, 7-0.
Dowagiac scored three goals in the first half as it outshot Brandywine, 33-2.
Scoring in the opening half for the Chieftains were Danielle Stanton, Ashley Brewer and Katie Brosnan.
Second half goals were recorded by Brosnan, Ashley Jessup, Brosnan and Jessup.
Eddies blank Buchanan
The Edwardsburg varsity soccer team beat visiting Buchanan 2-0 Monday night.
Rebecca Mondich and Ashley Turner each scored second-half goals to lift the Eddies to 5-5 on the year and 3-1 in Lakeland Conference play.
Buchanan (1-6, 1-3) managed 11 shots compared to 15 by Edwardsburg.
Buchanan goalkeeper Brittany Harrington and Edwardsburg keeper Laura Downath each tallied nine saves.
