NILES -- Niles Congressman Fred Upton confirmed this morning President George W. Bush is planning a visit to Niles on Monday afternoon.
He said Bush will also visit Kalamazoo.
He said Michigan is a battleground state, "and you can't win Michigan without winning our district."
Upton said Bush's visit will be a public, ticketed event.
Upton's office is helping to coordinate the event.
