The Niles girls track team finished fourth out of six teams at the Sturgis Invitational on Saturday.
Picking up first place finishes for the Lady Vikings were the 400- and 800-meter relay teams.
The 400-meter unit consisted of Amber Peters, Shameka Fultz, Amanda Britton and Tasha Webster. The 800-meter unit consisted of Peters, Fultz, Marriette Strauss and Webster.
Niles finished second in the shot put relay with the team of Ashley Austin, Rolanda Hawkins and Asley Roland. The Lady Vikings took third in tthe sprint medley relay with Peters, Fultz, Britton and Webster.
Taking fourth was the distance medley relay team of Heather Rogers, Elle Gluckert, Lyndsay Leech and Tammi Madison. Also finishing fourth was the high jump relay team of Caleda Wyland, Angel Brown and Abby Mitchell.
On Tuesday night the Lady Vikings competed against host Benton Harbor. No official results are available as of yet due to wet score sheets.
