After wins in the first round of the Division 4 Individual Wrestling State Finals, Brandywine's Adam Ringler and Travis Reith ran into tougher competition in the second round Friday.
Reith suffered a 17-0 technical fall loss to Lloyd Miller on Whittemore-Prescott in the 112-pound weight class. He is now set to face Justin Pawlowski of Jonesville in the consolation second round.
Ringler also lost Friday, dropping a 9-3 decision to Josh Woodcock of Manton at 145 pounds. He moves to the consolation second round against Mike Martinez of Unionville-Sebawing.
Brandywine's Mike Morrison lost his first match Thursday and then lost again Friday in the 112-pound weight class. A 4-1 loss to Chris Brownlee of Michigan Center eliminated Morrison from the tournament.
