The unofficial election results from Monday in Porter Township and the Village of Marcellus show the voters have chosen to recall officials.
The totals in Porter Township for Clerk Sandra Kiner were 903 yes, 336 no; Trustee H.C. Scot Billings, 903 yes, 320 no; and Trustee Janice Stoner, 902 yes. 322 no.
In Porter Township a new clerk will be appointed on April 6 by a committee made up of Cass County Clerk Ann Simmons, Porter Township Supervisor Larry Malsch and Porter Township Treasurer Susan McCammon.
In the Village of Marcellus 141 voters said yes to recalling Trustee Steven Foster, to 37 no votes.
