Miller leads Ferris State to victory

The Ferris State University women's basketball team improved to 18-7 overall and 13-3 in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play with a 64-55 win over Northwood Saturday.
Niles High School graduate Erin Miller led the Bulldogs with 19 points as well as four assists and two steals. Lucy DeMartin added 11 points and Kristin Reinhart helped out with 10 for Ferris.
Miller and DeMartin have been nominated for NCAA Division 2 All-Region and All-America honors.
Ferris hosts Northern Michigan on Thursday evening.
