The Dowagiac junior varsity and freshman volleyball teams lost to host Marshall on Wednesday in a Big 16 Conference crossover match.
The freshman squad was defeated 5-15 and 4-15, while the junior varsity squad was defeated, 9-15 and 14-16.
Brittany Bruens and Calie Daniels each had five kills for the freshman squad, while Katie Hewitt and Daniels each had one ace. Bruens also had eight assists.
Jill Billingham had three kills for the junior varsity, while Kim Luthringer had five aces and Ashley Willis five assists.
Willis also had 14 digs.
The JV are now 17-15-2 on the year.
