Glen Oaks stifles Indians’ rally

The Lake Michigan College men's basketball team scored just 17 points in the first half against Glen Oaks Wednesday night.
Despite a comeback effort, the Indians suffered a 73-63 loss which dropped their record to 11-10 overall and 4-5 in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association.
Glen Oaks improved to 17-4 overall and 7-2 in league play.
Niles High School graduate Desmond Favors led all scorers with 22 points for the Indians. He also handed out four assists. Corey Thacker, also of Niles, added 12 points, nine rebounds and five steals.
Justin Henderson led Glen Oaks with 16 points.
LMC travels to Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek Saturday for a 3 p.m. tipoff.
