CASSOPOLIS -- A Buchanan man was seriously injured Saturday morning when he failed to yield at the intersection of M-60 and M-40 and collided with a Jones man.
Cass County Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reported the 11:20 a.m. crash Jan. 31 occurred when a northbound vehicle on M-40 driven by Christopher Gearhart, 24, of Buchanan, failed to yield after stopping for the sign and pulled into the path of a pickup truck driven by James Wiseman, 66, of Jones.
The Wiseman vehicle struck the driver's side door area, which caused trauma to Gearhart.
Wiseman suffered minor injuries, according to the sheriff, and was released at the scene.
