Lakeshore captured the Big 16 Conference Super Duals on Saturday at the Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek with a 48-21 victory over Niles.
Dowagiac, which was edged by Niles in the second round, 36-35, finished fifth.
The victory by the Lancers over the Vikings was the second this season. This win, however, was a bit more lopsided than Lakeshore's West Division win back in December.
Dowagiac slipped past Sturgis in the opening round (42-34), while Niles pounded Portage Central (48-24). The Vikings then held off the Chieftains, 36-35, to advance to the semifinals.
There the Vikings defeated No. 1 seeded Battle Creek Lakeview, 39-36. Lakeshore, meanwhile, defeated Coldwater in the semifinals, 45-30.
In the consolation round Dowagiac (14-2) defeated Mattawan for the third time this season, 36-33. The Chieftains finished with a 48-22 victory over Kalamazoo Central in the battle for fifth place.
