Bucks finish 4-1 at home tourney

The Buchanan varsity wrestling team finished 4-1 at its own tournament Saturday as Bangor went undefeated to win the six-team event.
Mendon-Centreville finished 3-2, the Buchanan junior varsity went 2-3, Covert went 1-4 and Galien finished 0-5.
Buchanan had five wrestlers finish the day undefeated. Todd Taylor at 103 pounds, Travis Reith at 112 pounds, Nick Wheetley at 119 pounds, David Medlin at 130 pounds and Matt Dykema at 140 pounds were all perfect for Buchanan Saturday.
The Bucks return to action on Wednesday at home against River Valley for a Lakeland Conference dual match at 7 p.m.
