St. Mary's Parish will host their first New Year's Eve Gala on Wednesday, Jan. 31 from 6:30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
With nearly 200 people already on board, chairperson Jane Bourbannais said they still have a few openings left.
The theme of the party is the Grand Ballroom in Central Park. The decorations will include decking the parish hall out to look like a classic ballroom complete with a disco ball and greeters wearing tuxedos.
The fun filled night will include a variety of party activities. Fine dining will be provided by Stevensville's Fireside Inn.
The Eddie Knight Band, a local favorite from South Bend, Ind. will provide the evening's main entertainment from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. The group plays a variety of music and features a full band with a brass section.
A large dance floor will be located in the center of the parish hall.
Champagne and party favors such as horns and poppers will be provided for the countdown to 2004.
The night will also include late night appetizers and three 50-50s.
For people who are still looking for a great way to ring in 2004, tickets are $100 per couple and $50 for a single ticket. You must be at least 21 to attend.
To purchase tickets call Bourbannais at 683-7154 or the Parish Office at 683-5067.
