Saying goodbye after 32 years of service in Niles

By Staff
NILES -- After 32 years plus of greeting and serving thousands of clients, Mary Ann Losievski will retire from Rana's Hair Fashions at the end of 2003.
Losievski began working behind the reception desk in 1971 when Rana's was located at the Eastgate Shopping Center, but had also worked behind a styling chair as a hairdresser for a while beforehand.
An open house reception will be held for Mary Ann in the salon, now located at 525 N. 17th Street during regular hours from today, Dec. 26 through Tuesday, Dec. 30.
Friends as well as regular clients who wish to stop by and congratulate her are more than welcome to do so. Cards and letters may also be sent to Mary Ann in care of the salon.
Rana's Hair Fashions owners Pat and Gail White are also retiring. Their daughters, Janice Hensel and Juli Donohue will continue the Rana's legacy for a third generation.
