Shamrocks win Cass invitational

Berrien Springs captured the Cassopolis Invitational volleyball tournament on Saturday by defeating Watervliet in the finals, 15-13 and 16-14.
Berrien Springs reached the finals with a win over River Valley (17-15, 15-13) in the semifinals. Watervliet defeated Buchanan in the semifinals, 15-10 and 15-10.
Cassopolis won just one game in pool play (1-5) as it split with Galien, 11-15 and 15-6.
Championship
Berrien Springs defeated Watervliet 15-13, 16-14.
Semifinals
Berrien Springs defeated River Valley 17-15, 15-13; Watervliet defeated Buchanan 15-10, 15-10.

Eddies volleyball
The Edwardsburg varsity volleyball team fell to Sturgis on Monday, 9-15, 5-15 and 5-15.
Jessica Rafalski led the Lady Eddies with seven points, while Shana Stoops had three points, one ace, six kills and 14 digs.
Sarah Lange finished with 15 assists, four points, one ace and 11 digs.
On Saturday at the Otsego Invitational, the Lady Eddies went 1-1-2.
Edwardsburg defeated Plainwell, 15-11, 15-5 and split with Hart and Mattawan.
Kate Habicht had 18 kills and 33 digs, while Rafalski had 15 kills and 16 digs. Lange finished with 38 assists, three aces, three kills and 19 digs.
