Niles-Buchanan YMCA Gators bring home several top prizes from Sturgis Invitational

The Niles-Buchanan YMCA Gators swim team competed well recently at the Sturgis Invitational.
Here are the Gators' results by division.
Competing in the Men's 8 and Under:
James Norris finished 12th in the 25-yard backstroke. He also finished 13th in the 25-yard freestyle, and 15th in the 50-yard freestyle.
Parker Saladin finished 11th in the 25-yard backstroke, and 12th in the 25-yard freestyle. He also finished 13th in the 50-yard freestyle.
Trayton Saladin finished 10th in the 25-yard freestyle, 12th in the 50-yard freestyle, and 13th in the 25-yard backstroke.
James Ward finished eighth in the 25-yard backstroke. He also had 14th place in the 25-yard freestyle and the 50-yard freestyle.
Competing in the Women's 8 and Under:
Bekah Polega finished ninth in the 25-yard freestyle, 11th in the 50-yard freestyle, and 14th in the 25-yard backstroke.
Erin Polega finished second in the 25-yard butterfly, third in the 50-yard freestyle, and seventh in the 25-yard backstroke.
Emily Ward finished sixth in the 50-yard freestyle, 10th in the 25-yard freestyle, and 11th in the 25-yard backstroke.
Competing in the Men's 9-10 division:
Mike Panama finished ninth in the 50-yard backstroke, and had two-10th place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle.
T.J. Polega finished second in the 100-yard freestyle, third in the 50-yard backstroke, and forth in the 50-yard freestyle.
Competing in the Women's 9-10 division:
Amanda Harlow had all forth place finishes in the 100-yard individual medley, 50-yard butterfly, and the 50-yard backstroke.
Liz Panama finished fifth in the 50-yard butterfly, seventh in the 50-yard backstroke, and 11th in the 50-yard freestyle.
Sarah Polega finished third in the 50-yard butterfly, 11th in the 50-yard backstroke, and 12th in the 50-yard freestyle.
Kelsey Rankel finished 15th in the 100-yard freestyle, eighteenth in the 50-yard backstroke, and twentieth in the 50-yard freestyle.
Competing in the Men's 11-12 division:
Ty Alexander finished third in the 50-yard backstroke, 12th in the 50-yard freestyle, and 13th in the 100-yard freestyle.
Evan Harlow finished second in the 50-yard backstroke, ninth in the 100-yard freestyle, and 10th in the 50-yard freestyle.
Michael Rattenbury finished first in the 100-yard butterfly, third in the 50-yard butterfly, and 11th in the 50-yard freestyle.
Competing in the Women's 11-12 division:
Kristine Gordon finished ninth in the 50-yard butterfly, 10th in the 50-yard backstroke, and 14th in the 50-yard freestyle.
Emily Harlow finished second in the 100-yard freestyle, third in the 50-yard freestyle, and fifth in the 50-yard backstroke.
Lindsey McCarty finished second in the 50-yard freestyle, third in the 50 meter breaststroke, and forth in the 50-yard backstroke.
Carlee Rankel finished first in the 100-yard breaststroke, second in the 100-yard individual medley and seventh in the 100-yard freestyle.
Competing in the Men's 13 and over division:
Jacob Fuson finished ninth in the 100-yard backstroke. He also had two 14th place finishes in the 50-yard freestyle, and the 100-yard freestyle.
Andy Welsh finished first in the 100-yard backstroke, second in the 100-yard freestyle, and third in the 50-yard freestyle.
Competing in the Women's 13 and over division:
Stephanie Gray finished second in the 50-yard freestyle, third in the 100-yard freestyle, and forth in the 100-yard backstroke.
Tonya Hauser had two-first place finishes in the 200-yard individual medley and 100-yard butterfly, and finished second in the 100-yard backstroke.
