Dowagiac police chief Tom Atkinson will take a one-game advantage into the bowl season against the remainder of the Daily News Football Forecasters.
Atkinson grabbed the lead early on in the season and has been able to maintain it throughout.
He is currently 107-39 heading into the bowl games (see related graphic this page).
Dowagiac Daily News sports editor Scott Novak is in hot pursuit of Atkinson as he is one game back at 106-40.

Daily News managing editor John Eby remains alive with a record of 102-44, while Dowagiac assistant football coach Mike Behnke and U.S. Congressman Fred Upton, R.-St. Joseph, are both lurking around at 101-43.
Cassopolis police chief Frank Williams, last year's champion, is currently in last place with a record of 89-57.
The forecasters will present their first selections on Dec. 16.
