For only the second time this season, the Cassopolis varsity basketball team has tasted defeat.
A second half rally led Lakeland Conference newcomer Bridgman to a 52-49 upset of the Lady Rangers Tuesday night.
Cassopolis (10-2, 6-2) led 16-11 after one period of play and 26-19 at the intermission.
The Lady Bee (10-2, 6-2) outscored the Lady Rangers 31-23 in the second half to come away with the road victory.
Jealyn Foston led the Lady Rangers with 18 points. Cona Marshall added nine points and Kesley Gordon six.
Bridgman was led by Heather Seyfred's 24 points.

The Edwardsburg varsity basketball team was outscored 17-4 in the first quarter Tuesday night as host Berrien Springs scored a 45-23 Lakeland Conference victory.
The Lady Shamrocks led 30-11 at the intermission and then 38-17 entering the fourth quarter.
Sarah Lange led the Lady Eddies (2-11, 0-8) with six points.
Berrien Springs (7-6, 3-5) was led offensively by Andrea Murdock's 10 points.
